MISSIONS

HOW TO GET INVOLVED

Not everyone can leave town for a week to go on one of our mission trips.  At Maumee UMC we plan in-town volunteering opportunities during the daytime, evening, and weekends.  Some will be scheduled group activities, and others will be individual in nature, so you can schedule your own hours. Take a look at some of the opportunities we have put together for you!

MOSAIC MINISTRIES

We supply and cook meals for approximately 150 people 2-3 times a month:  3rd Thursday , 4th Tuesday, and 5th Sunday . The 4th Tuesday we also give out 100 bags of grocers to help our friends get through the end of the month. How can you help?

  • Help the lead person during the day to cook the meal.

  • Help make/bake the dinner desserts.

  • Help load the dinner food and food give-away bags for transit.

  • Help to serve the meal at Mosiaic Ministries.

  • Build relationships with the community at Mosaic Ministries.

  • Help pack the food bags from our Pantry once a month.
