Stepping Stones Family Ministry
For 2 year olds through 5th graders and Parents
This ministry is a crucial step in developing a partnership between the home and congregation in the nurturing and passing on of faith. Each “stepping stone” signifies an event in the lives of children, youth, and adults that we can use to celebrate or nurture our faith. This is a ministry where family life intersects faith.
Each month a different age group will have its “Stepping Stone.” The child of that age group, along with his/her parents, will gather at church on that specific Sunday. As each year passes, your child can add a new faith stepping stone to his/her collection.

2’s September Teaching your Child to Pray
3’s October Introduction to God’s Word
4’s November Baptism
PreK/K December Communion
1st January Stewardship
2nd February Lord’s Prayer
3rd March Teaching Your Parents the Bible
4th April The Ten Commandments
5th May Spiritual Gifts
